The redesigned MHL ports are not compatible with a new Samsung HDMI and MHL adapters that were launched by Samsung for its previous products.The exact reason of this is that the previous Samsung adapters look like the newly launched adapters HTMI MHL.But the New device SIII does not support this unluckily we cannot use a previous adapter and the other fact is that it can even not be used by using some other hacking tricks available.The reason about this concern is not clear yet.So,You have to buy new cable that costs £25.The below is a photo of these new adapters.
